Taylors' Par 3 you pay one greens fee and play as many rounds as you want!
This nine-hole, 1159-yard course is suitable
for all ages and playing abilities. There is a practice green for putting
and chipping, and three practice cages are available for warming up. Both
are free.
The whole family can golf at Taylors' Par 3. When we say all ages
we mean it! Our oldest known golfers were a married couple aged 93 and
88 -- and they walked 9 holes twice a week. Although we have had parents
bring their young ones in strollers and radio flyer wagons, our youngest
known golfer was age 3. His father caddied for him. Probably the most
common combination is parents or grandparents guiding their children
or grandchildren through the sport. We have lots of seniors getting
their daily exercise. New golfers try their very first round of golf
here every day and seasoned golfers play here to work on their short
game. All golfers tee off from the same tee marker. There is no dress code. Tee times are not necessary and the rules are few: let faster players play through, repair ball marks on the greens, respect the course and respect the players. Metal spikes are not allowed. Limited snacks and drinks are available in the clubhouse as well as some golf supplies (tees and balls).
The TaylorsVince and Chris Taylor purchased the golf course on August 26, 2001. The family-owned business is also home to Vince's law practice. Vince has practiced law since 1975. After almost 13 years as a human resources manager, Chris was at a professional crossroads. Both were looking for some new challenges, so they bought the golf course and moved the law office into the clubhouse. From time to time they receive help from their children, Aryah, Courtney, and Vincent. They also have a few seasonal part-time employees, who work nights and help mow grass. This combination of family and a small staff provides customers with a "Mom and Pop" atmosphere.
Business Hours The course is open 9:00 a.m. until sunset, seven days a week. The course is closed from Thanksgiving through February each year.
RatesGreens fees: NEW! Fun Mondays and Fridays: unlimited golf for only $5.00! All other days: Nine hole rate for Adults is $8.00 and $6.00 for Seniors (60 and over) and Juniors (14 and under). Unlimited golf rate is $9.00 for adults and $7.00 for juniors and seniors. Allow approximately one hour to one-and-one-half hours for nine holes of play. The last nine must be started at least one-and-one-half hours prior to closing time. Membership rate for adults is $215.00 and seniors/juniors, $169.00. Ten-play passes sell for $80.00 (adults) and $60.00 (seniors/juniors). Gift Certificates are also available. We honor American Lung Association Lung Cards. Lung Card rates are $6.00 per round.Club rental is $5.00 per bag, which includes balls and tees. Pull carts rent for $2.00 and electric carts rent for $5.00 for nine holes and $10.00 for eighteen holes. Since we only have a few electric carts please call ahead to reserve one. Group rates are available. Just call ahead, no later than one week prior to the event, to schedule group outings. Visa and Mastercard credit cards and debit cards are accepted, as are personal checks. Driving directions from Bloomington, Ellettsville, or Indianapolis.
